ProService Donates $150,000 to Aloha United Way
100% of Employees Rally Around the Community, Donating Over $150,000 to AUW
ProService Hawaii, the leading provider of Human Resource services in the state, announced that its “prohana” of over 350 local employees has donated over $150,000 to Aloha United Way as part of its annual workplace giving campaign for 2021. The HR company attributes its record contribution and two-year streak of 100% participation to the generosity of its staff, and small but strategic changes made to the campaign’s implementation, making it easier for its 350+ employees to give continuously.
“Building and enabling a culture of giving in the workplace is more critical today than ever before,” says Ben Godsey, president and CEO of ProService Hawaii. “Though many of Hawaii’s nonprofits saw an outpouring of donations at the onset of the pandemic, more than two years in, there is always the risk of ‘donation fatigue,’ even though urgent needs have grown,” he continued. “ I’m very proud of the way ProService employees have banded together to lead by example, showing how important it is to be consistent, long-term partners with Hawaii’s nonprofit communities.”
“We appreciate partners like ProService Hawaii who have truly set a high bar for workplace giving,” said Emmaly Calibraro, Vice President of Fundraising and Major Gifts at Aloha United Way. “Not only were they an early adopter of our workplace giving campaign, they continue to anticipate and overcome obstacles like ‘donation fatigue’ with thoughtful and creative employee experiences that make charitable giving more productive and rewarding for all,” she added.
